Rio 2016 | The "Final Five" and All that Glitterss

Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Madison Kocian,
Laurie Hernandez and Simone Biles represented
USA Team with pride. and ... glitters:)

Each member of the "Final Five" had eight leotards decorated with 3,500 to 5,000 swarovski crystals (and 12 for training).
These gem-studded uniforms cost between $700 and $1,200 a piece. Uniform were using the iconic colors of the American flag: the Classic Red, White and Blue.

Competition leotards "are like little prom dresses," Martha Karolyi, (the national team coordinator of the U.S. women's gymnastics team) said in a conference call with the media in late July. "It will give them a very good feeling to go out there with a good look and with a good preparation paired together." She was right. Gorgeous outfits have clearly  made waves on TV and Social Media.

But why so much sparkle? Kelly McKeown, the executive vice president for design and corporate relations at GK Elite, told the Times, “We went from being very patriotic to being much fancier.”

It's gold for the U.S. women's gymnastics team!
We are All SO incredibly proud of you!

The "Final Five": Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian and Laurie Hernandez won gold in the team final competition in Rio2016, by a margin of nearly eight points (the largest margin of victory at a major meet), with a score of 184.897.

CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!
THE FINAL FIVE!
